Questions sellers actually ask

The six questions we hear most from US and Canadian brand owners — answered without hedging.

Someone already filed my trademark in China. What now?

Don't pay the sender, and don't ignore it. Knowing that someone filed is not the same as knowing what to do — that depends on who filed, in which classes, at what status, and whether an opposition deadline is running. The scan gives you those four facts in 72 hours, plus the realistic options for each: opposition, negotiation, rebrand for the China market, or waiting out a bad-faith filing. Every option starts with the same step one.

I don't sell in China. Do I still need to worry?

Your risk is lower — but if you manufacture in China, your goods physically leave China, and a squatter with customs registration can touch that. Many sellers consider a filing cheap insurance — in the words of one who learned the hard way, it costs a few hundred dollars but can potentially save you from problems worth thousands. If your scan shows low exposure, our report will say so honestly.

Isn't this just a scam email? I got one saying someone wants to register my brand.

Some of those emails are scams — and some are real. Sellers on r/FulfillmentByAmazon have unpacked both cases. The only way to know is to check the registry itself, which is exactly what we do. Unlike the email, we show you the primary-source records.

How much does a China trademark check cost?

A flat $149 per brand name — one-time, no account, report by email within 72 hours. If your scan leads to a filing, the licensed agent quotes in writing before you commit.

Can you file the trademark for me?

The scan and the strategy are ours; the filing itself goes through a licensed China trademark agent we refer you to. We'll tell you the expected costs before you commit to anything.

What do you need from me?

Your brand name (and any Chinese name you already use), your product category, and the markets you sell in. That's it. The order form takes two minutes.

Still not sure?

The scan answers your specific situation in 72 hours — with the registry records to back it.
